Please be informed that the Final Examination Results for Semester I Academic Session 2022/2023 and Final Examination Result for Semester II Academic Session 2022/2023 can be viewed online via student's eCommunity.

Kindly take note of the following important announcements:

1) Students who fail to remain in good academic standing:

Fail (Student is expelled)
Letter of Dismissal will be sent to students, parents/guardian, first guarantor and second guarantor on 13th March 2023

Probation 1 (P1) and Probation 2 (P2)
Letter of Academic Warning will be sent to students, parents/guardian, first guarantor and second guarantor on 13th March 2023

2) Application for Review of the Final Examination's Answer Scripts

Date of application: 13 MARCH 2023 – 24 MARCH 2023
The application form (Application Form for Review of Final Examination Scripts) can be obtained from PPA Portal (http://ppa.ump.edu.my) and must be submitted to the Faculty together with the payment receipt.
The payment for appeal is RM150.00 per course and should be made online (ie: M2U ---> Bill payment ---> Make a One Off Payment ---> view all payees ---> select Education & Education Loan ----> Universiti Malaysia Pahang (PELAJAR) ---> type of payment: Special Repeat Exam Fees).


3) Application for Special Examination (ONLY FOR FINAL YEAR STUDENTS who have passed with CPA ≥ 2.00 but failed one (1) course in the current semester) :

Date of application: : 13 MARCH 2023 – 24 MARCH 2023
The application form (Application Form for Special Examination) can be obtained from PPA Portal (http://ppa.ump.edu.my) and must be submitted to the Faculty.
The payment for each application is RM 100.00.
Please ensure that there are no outstanding debts or payments to Bursary Department. Please contact the Bursary Department for more information on the debt or payment.


4) Application for Re-Registration (KGDS)

Date of application: 13 MARCH 2023 – 17 MARCH 2023
The application form (Application Form for Re-Registration) can be obtained from PPA Portal (http://ppa.ump.edu.my) and must be submitted to the Faculty.
Please ensure that there are no outstanding debts or payments to Bursary Department. Please contact the Bursary Department for more information on the debt or payment.

Please be advised that the deadline for:

1. Course Registration (add/drop) for Semester I Academic Session 2022/2023 is on Friday, 28^th October 2022 (Please CLICK HERE for the Open Course Registration Manual).
2. Vertical Credit Transfer application for Semester I Academic Session 2022/2023 is on Friday, 24^th October 2022 (Please CLICK HERE for the Vertical Credit Transfer System Manual).
3. Course Exemption application for Semester I Academic Session 2022/2023 is on Friday, 24^th October 2022 (Please CLICK HERE for the Vertical Credit Transfer System Manual)

 

Students who fail to finalize their course registration by the deadline will be subject to the following penalty:

Week	Date	Penalty
1 – 2	17 - 28 October 2022	None
3 – 9	31 October - 23 December 2022	RM100/Course (add course ONLY) (*maximum RM400)
≥ 10	26 – 30 December 2022	Not Allowed and will be terminated from study

 Note: The above penalty does not apply to students who have been barred by the system due to outstanding debt.

Gentle Reminder:

Full Time Students

• The maximum credit hours that students with P1, P2 and KGDS (Fail and Re-registered) status is 12 credit hours per semester. Students can however, apply for exemption from the Dean should they wish to take more than the maximum credit hours.

 

• The maximum credit hours that students with KC & KB status is 20 credit hours per semester. Students can however, apply for exemption from the Dean should they wish to take more than the maximum credit hours.

Part Time Students

The maximum credit hours for Part Time students is 12 credit hours per semester. Students can however, apply for exemption from the Dean should they wish to take more than the maximum credit hours.

Dear students,

1. You can now apply for a course exemption (English language courses) and choose its replacement course in the system.

2. For intake 2021/2022 students:

• Those who have successfully applied for UHL2412 course exemption in March 2022, please REAPPLY in the system so that you can choose one of the elective courses as the replacement course.
• Those who are eligible but have not applied, you can apply in the system.

3. For the NEW intake 2022/2023 students:

• MUET CEFR band 1 or 2: No course exemption. Register for UHL2400.
• MUET CEFR Band 3 – 4/IELTS Band 5 - 6/TOEFL iBT 61 – 78: Automatic exemption given for UHL2400 course. DO NOT apply in the system. Just register for UHL2412 next semester.
• MUET CEFR Band 4.5/ IELTS Band 6.5/TOEFL iBT 79 or better: Apply for UHL2400 and UHL2412 exemption in the system and choose ONE (1) elective course to replace UHL2412.
